What exactly do I offer? Logos, stationery (business cards, letterheads, envelopes, folders etc), printed material that support the identity I craft (flyers, brochures etc), icons and much more. How long does a project take to complete?
Most lead times are between 3 weeks to 3 months, but this is dependent on your brief and needs. On average, after completing supplying the full brief, it takes 1 working week to deliver the first round of concepts. Based on your feedback, the delivery of the final files will vary.
There are very specific steps that are taken – these include There are a number of steps: understanding the design brief, research, brainstorming, sketching, rendering, initial presentation, and the refinement of the project. First and most importantly, the client’s role is to understand what they need. I’ll prompt you with questions that will focus your vision and how it pertains to your visual identity. But ultimately, I can only work with the information that you supply. I’ll brainstorm a variety of ideas, narrow these down to the most appropriate according to your needs as well as my professional opinion. And then, it’s over to you again. Your job is to guide me in terms of your company’s vision, and how you’d like your clients to view your brand – as it is my job to guide you as far as practicality and good design practices are concerned. Good design is based on a good collaboration between us.
At least half of my clients are based overseas. (In fact, I’m thinking of creating a map and pinning the various countries where my clients are based.) Working across borders, with the help of skype, phone calls and emails, has never been a hindrance
